What are different ways students can get to school?
While transportation services are generally not required at a charter school, many of our schools offer bussing to ensure equal access to the school. If your school provides bussing, you can check out the schedule and procedure to sign-up for transportation by visiting your school’s website. In schools that do not provide transportation, some parents choose to carpool their children, taking turns with drop-off and pick-up. This can be a very helpful solution that is coordinated directly between parents. Sometimes parents join together to hire private transportation. This type of transportation is not affiliated with our school and all arrangements must be made directly with the transportation company.
State statutes require all public schools to make accommodations for transportation if a student has a specific transportation IEP.
