Why Does Your School Wear Uniforms?

Why uniforms are important to our student body and how do you get them?

All students are required to wear uniforms at every CSUSA school. There are many benefits to this practice. We all know how different we feel when we dress for work or dress for play. Uniforms make it easier for students to get into the right mindset when they arrive at school, ready to work. This helps students right from the very moment they walk into the door to mentally prepare for their day, dressing the part of a student.  Uniforms also level the playing field between those students who can afford to wear designer clothes and those who need to wear hand-me-downs. Students who wear the same clothes no longer compete in fashion wars which helps promote an equal environment for learning and social interactions.  An additional benefit to uniforms is safety.  If someone is on campus without a uniform, it is very obvious and allows staff to better identify visitors.

Students grow so quickly, so to help avoid substantial costs each year, we have a uniform exchange program where parents can trade-in lightly used uniforms for others that fit their student’s rapidly growing body.

If any parent cannot afford uniforms, they can speak to the administration for assistance. No student will ever be turned away if they cannot afford a uniform.
